The question of effective distribution cannot be asked without finally addressing the solution as well as problem that Alaba Marketing poses to the industry. For now it is safe to assume that the industry will continue to see a de-empashis on CD sales, more emphasis on streaming services and exclusive streaming releases, as well as the rise of the Independent Record Label.
